Coach Phil Daniel

Head Coach - Phillip Daniel
Attended University of Tennessee at Chattanooga and wrestled for three years.  He received his Bachelors and Masters degrees from UTC.  He was the head coach at Ringgold high where he won seven team state championships.  Phillip is married to DeAnne for 19 years.  She teaches at Sycamore elementary school.  They have two children, Dalton (14) who will be a freshman for North Gwinnett, and Melayne (10) who will be a 5th grader at Sycamore.  Coach Daniel teaches special education.

Rodney Potter

Prior to joining the Bulldogs, Rodney spent two years as Head Coach at Gainesville High, and four years as an assistant with Walton High School which acquired three consecutive top four AAAAA state team finishes.  He is a former Division I wrestler for Georgia State University and an alumni of North Gwinnett High School.  He compiled an overall high school record of 158 - 37.  He was a state champion as a Junior and a state finalist as a Senior.

André Mitchell

Coach Mitchell hails from San Jose, California. He attended Bellarmine College Prep, where he was a state finalist. He went on to Howard University and was a four year letterman.  He would complete college, winning the M.E.A.C. conference twice. Coach Mitchell received his Bachelor’s of Science in Mechanical Engineering. He is married to Jaune’se, and has two children. Coach Mitchell has coached wrestling for 8 years.

Nick Brenner

Coach Brenner is a graduate of Kent State University where he was a 3 year letterman wrestling in he 165 lb class. Prior to his career at Kent State, he finished third at the Ohio state tournament as a senior at Canfield High School.  He was a two-time all-sectional and three-time All-Metro Athletic Conference selection.  He posted a career record of 125-24 and earned four varsity letters in wrestling. He's a special education teacher for Gwinnett County Schools.
